Our founder, Victoria, is a mum of two who saw the need for thoughtfully designed shoes that support healthy foot development without compromising on style or practicality. Which style is best for a first walker?

Our Velcro style is a popular choice for first walkers because it opens wide and can be adjusted for a secure fit. It’s especially helpful for narrower feet or little ones still finding their balance.

Our Slip-On style is wonderfully fuss-free and often suits wider feet or higher insteps.
How much growing room should I allow?

For first walkers, we recommend allowing approximately 0.7–1.5 cm of growing room. Too much extra space can make shoes harder to walk in, so it’s best not to size up excessively.
DO THE DIFFERENT STYLES FIT THE SAME?

They are built around the same sizing system, but the fit can feel slightly different because of how each upper holds the foot. Always measure your child’s foot and check the individual product sizing guide before ordering.
WHAT makes sohls® different to regular toddler shoes?

sohls® are created specifically around the way little feet grow and move. Every detail – from the roomy toe box and flexible outsole to the lightweight, breathable upper – is designed to make everyday movement feel more natural and comfortable.
How do I measure my child's feet?

Have your child stand with their full weight evenly distributed on a piece of paper, mark from the back of their heel to the tip of the longest toe. Measure both feet and use the longer measurement when choosing a size. You can also use our downloadable size guide found here .
What is your return policy?

Eligible unworn items can be returned within 30 days of the order date. Products must be unworn, unwashed and returned with their original packaging and tags attached. You can see our full returns policy here .

We work with our family-based, ethical manufacturing partner in Wenzhou China. All shoes are dispatched from Sydney, Australia.

Have purchased these shoes multiple times and love them for my girl. Only small issue I have this time around is about the look of the black ones. In the past the black ones had black Velcro.. The latest pair I purchased has white Velcro which just sticks out like a sore thumb if your child has wider feet for example and so the strap doesn’t cover completely. Just not as aesthetically pleasing. Otherwise great functional shoe that is comfortable for my toddler and easy for her to put on and take off herself.

We’ve absolutely loved our Little Sohls shoes! They have been the perfect shoes for my toddler. The wide toe box gives little feet plenty of room to move and develop naturally, while still feeling supportive and secure. They’re incredibly lightweight, and so easy to put on and take off, which makes life so much easier when you have a busy toddler. One of my favourite features is that they’re machine washable, so they come up looking brand new after all of our outdoor adventures. I’ve tried other toddler shoes before, but they would constantly slip off. Little Sohls are made so well they stay on securely while still being comfortable for little feet. Not only are they practical and great for growing feet, but they’re also aesthetically designed and go with everything. Loving our little sohls we gave to our little boy for his first birthday. My almost three year old only needs these and a cream/white pair because they are machine washable and are great from a muddy park day to going out for dinner.
